Bikeway Cleanup: Hardy & Elysian

Join the BikeHouston Clean Team at Earl Henderson Park to clean up the bikeways along Hardy and Elysian streets. We’ll have help from our friends at Greater Northside Management District, Lindale Park Civic Club, Super Neighborhood 51 and the office of Congresswoman Sylvia Garcia.
Lights in the Heights Bike Valet

The traffic and parking situation at Lights in the Heights is like getting a lump of coal in your stocking. Fortunately, BikeHouston is here to offer some holiday cheer: Ride your bike to the festivities and we’ll valet your bike for free.
We parked very few bikes at last year’s event due to rain, but we parked 150 bikes at Lights In The Heights in 2022. Help us beat that number! We’ll be set up on the Norhill Esplanade (between Bayland and Euclid) from 6 to 9 p.m.
I Love 11th Street Festival
Saturday, December 7
The I Love 11th Street festival returns for a second year. Join us at 11:30 a.m. for a ride to the festival, departing from Market Square Park at 11:30 a.m.
We’ll also be offering valet bike parking from 12 noon until 6 p.m. at Eight Row Flint.
Between 3 and 5 p.m., join the Bike Jam at Hogg Middle School, featuring a bike safety demonstration and bike decorating.
And at 6 p.m., join a ride led by Harris County Precinct 1 and BikeHouston

At this year’s event, we will
hear a keynote from Harris County Commissioner Adrian Garcia, a steadfast supporter of and investor in safe streets and trails
honor some of the Houstonians who have been instrumental in making Houston a more bike-friendly city
and unveil an exciting new project that we’re working on.
And, of course, we’ll have great food and drinks, good conversation with bike-minded Houstonians, and a silent auction.

Park to Port Bike Ride

Hermann Park Conservancy's annual Park to Port bike ride takes cyclists from Hermann Park’s Bayou Parkland along the Bayou Greenway trail all the way to Mason Park, near the Port of Houston. Enjoy the turn-around party, but be sure to save some energy for a well-deserved post-ride party under the Bill Coats Bridge!
Park to Port is 20 miles round trip and open to riders of all skill levels. Whether you are experienced or are riding just for fun, you can go at your own pace on this scenic journey.
The Park to Port Bike Ride starts and ends at the foot of the Bill Coats Bridge in Hermann Park.

Fall Community Ride With Council Member Joaquin Martinez

Tour District I with City of Houston Council Member Joaquin Martinez, Fit Houston, and Wellness on Wheels. This casual, 10-mile ride starts at Mason Park and will take participants past many of the great green spaces within District I. We'll be showing off the high-comfort bikeways in the Second Ward, Magnolia Park, Eastwood and Idylwood neighborhoods, while also raising awareness around gaps in the bike network and the proposed projects that will bring more connectivity to the area.
Meet in the Mason Park parking lot. Bring your own bike, helmet, and water bottle.
